You should like give me a bit of your skills. Pleaseee.
In all seriousness this is absolutely incredible and I love everything about it. The background is not distracting but fits well with the character and the fogginess on the boots is awesome. My only suggestion is making the weapons on her back a little clearer. Personal preference because it's part of the character and helps describe it. But again, the piece is overall incredible!!

Do you have any anatomy tips for a beginning artist?

SurrealKatie responds:

Always use reference material, whether it be a reference for a pose or just general body parts, it all helps. I've an entire folder dedicated to reference material which help me with all areas of a body or figure or just general style if i'm struggling.

It looks really good, but I think the facial shadows could use some work, they don't look right.

Luminovia responds:

Yeah, I figured as much ; o ; I think I originally wanted to do something else with the shadows but ended up keeping it somehow. Thanks though! ^ v ^

Incredible improvement in just two years!!! With your current style, I feel that the legs are a little disproportionate and the neck appears a little too long. Other than that. Incredible job!!

CornellArt responds:

Thank you for your kind words and your feedback, I really appreciate it. As for the legs I tend to draw them very long, kind of a sailor moon style, and I tend to elongate the neck as well just as a stylistic thing. But thanks for pointing those things out, it really means a lot to get some constructive criticism!

This looks pretty awesome!! The neck looks a little off, but I am not familiar with the style so it may just be me.

LemKuuja responds:

Oh thanks, I didn't notice. *thumbs up*

I like the pose, I didn't expect it. It's really cool.

Jinx-25 responds:

Thank you very much :) I've been experimenting with poses recently. Glad you like it

The shading looks pretty good, maybe try having the other characters effect the shading? Overall I really like it and the realistic background makes the piece really pop out. Good job!

RiverJordan responds:

Thanks! Good suggestion too! :)

The hair is cool, but the figure is kind of strange, including the chest are. *Cough*

FahBraccini responds:

I'm still trying to get everything right on the anatomy side, hehe, it happens. Next time i'll do better

I agree with PlagueDocterNick about being in an RPG. The pose is cool and I enjoy the character, remember to make the shadows a tad lighter on the edge because light reflects back. Like on the right leg, add a small line on the inside of her thigh. Overall excellent character and figure.

EndangeredCryptid responds:

Thank you. I just started to experiment with colored light and other shading techniques ^^ i keep that in mind thanks for the advice!

It's clay but not. Quite interesting, I do feel that there could have been more shadows. Excellent overall.

zeriz responds:

I see what you mean now that I take a closer look it overall.
Thank you~!

I enjoy how the bright RGB colors draw attention away from the shadows, but they are still there. The hair looks right and the skull on the gun is unique and excellent. Her leg position is a little strange, but overall a good style.

zeriz responds:

Thank you~!
The leg positioning was a bit of a struggle throughout the whole time when I was drawing her and was trying to position it properly but at the end when I look at it now I realize how many parts are really "Off" looking, and could have been handled better, but what better way to learn than from my mistakes?

I have been working on redesigning/ redrawing this character sometime soon since I just recently became active again. Thank you again for your comment and critique on my work!
All feedback motivates me, makes me happy, and helps me improve.
